Common questions
What can I do for free?
Editing and previews are free, and you can save 3 results for free. Saving or sharing a result you already unlocked doesn’t count again, and cancelled or interrupted saves don’t count. For unlimited saves, get Vauli Pro. The limits on video length and size are the same on the free tier and Pro.
Which videos can Vauli open?
MP4 and MOV videos. Choose them from Photos (up to 20 at once) or the Files app, or share them to Vauli from another app (up to 20 per share). A video can be up to two hours long and 10 GB, and your iPhone needs free space equal to the video’s size plus 50 MB. Vauli can’t record video.
Where do exports go, and in what format?
From the result screen, tap Share, Files or Photos. Most tools save an MP4. Convert Video and Metadata Cleaner can also save a MOV, Video to GIF saves a GIF, Extract Audio saves M4A or WAV, and Save Frame saves a JPEG or PNG.
Why is my exported video 1080p?
New projects export at a maximum resolution of 1080p, so a 4K video comes out at 1080p unless you change it. Open Export settings next to the export button and set Maximum resolution to Original or 4K. The same panel sets the frame rate and keeps or drops HDR.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Vauli processes videos on your iPhone, and they aren’t uploaded. The app uses the network for purchases and usage and diagnostic data. Buying or restoring Vauli Pro needs a connection.
How do I restore Vauli Pro?
In Vauli, open Settings, go to the Vauli Pro section and tap Restore purchases. Manage subscription is in the same place.
What do I need to run Vauli?
An iPhone with iOS 15 or later. Vauli is an iPhone app; there’s no iPad version.
